School and college software without an IT department.

The Education Kit gives you Gibbon for the school office and Moodle for teaching, set up to work together. On the AI edition, a built-in AI Assistant keeps both running: ask in plain English for an upgrade, a backup or a new student, and it does the work.

Try it free for 90 days on the X-Small tier. You don’t need payment details to start.

AI AssistantEducation Kit
  1. Add a new student named Maya Patel to the school in Gibbon, and make sure she can sign in to Moodle.
  2. Loaded the Gibbon and Moodle skills.
  3. Checked the setup first: Moodle signs users in against Gibbon, so Gibbon is the system of record.
  4. Created Maya’s student record in Gibbon.
  5. Ran the sync between Gibbon and Moodle.
  6. Checked its work: Maya can sign in to Moodle.

Two systems that already talk to each other

The kit installs both apps, both databases and the connection between them in one go.

Gibbon, for the school office
The student information system: student records, timetables and attendance.
Moodle, for teaching
The learning platform: courses, assessments, grading and analytics.
Connected from day one
Students sign in to Moodle with their Gibbon accounts, and Moodle pulls courses and enrolments from Gibbon. Add a student once and they appear in both.
An AI Assistant, on the AI edition
It runs upgrades, plugin and module installs, backups, diagnostics and Gibbon’s academic-year rollover when you ask. In standard mode, every action waits for your approval.
Your AI key, your AI spend
You connect your own key from Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) or OpenAI. Your AI provider bills you for usage directly.

Priced by capacity, not by student

You pay for the size of the deployment, so adding students or staff doesn’t change the bill.

Prices are per month in US dollars, for the X-Small tier. Larger tiers and current prices are on the marketplace.

Watch it work

The demo installs the kit on a free trial, signs in to both apps, then asks the AI Assistant to add a student. The same student who appears in Gibbon signs straight in to Moodle.

A move we’ve already made

A private education institution with no infrastructure staff runs its learning platform and student information system on Clouve. In July 2026 we moved it to a new Education Kit and upgraded both apps on the way.

Moodle
4.4.1 to 5.2
Gibbon
27 to 30
Cutover
A planned window of about 90 minutes
Safety net
Trial migration first; old system kept as a rollback

Questions schools ask

Is Clouve certified for FERPA, SOC 2 or similar?

No. Clouve doesn’t hold a certification such as SOC 2, FERPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001 or GDPR. Here is what it does have: each deployment runs in its own isolated environment, connections use SSL, paid plans include scheduled backups, and the recovery targets are 12 hours for data (RPO) and 2 hours to restore service (RTO). We share security details with your reviewers on request.

Where is our data stored?

On Google Cloud in the US, in the us-central1 region in Iowa. Other regions are available on request.

What does the free trial include?

The full kit for 90 days on the X-Small tier, on a Clouve web address. You don’t need payment details to start. Subscribing adds your own domain, scheduled backups and larger tiers.

Do we pay per student or per teacher?

No. You pay for the capacity tier, not for the number of users.

Who does the upgrades?

Clouve runs the hosting and routine maintenance. App upgrades happen when you choose. On the AI edition, you can ask the AI Assistant to run them.

We already run Moodle. Can you move us?

Talk to us. We’ve moved an institution’s Moodle and Gibbon to a new Education Kit, upgrading both on the way, in a planned cutover of about 90 minutes.
